WHEN THE WATCHMAN FAILS TO WARN!
This is a message about the duty of the watchman. The prophet Ezekiel was called to be a “watchman” unto the house of Israel, and to give them a warning from the Lord [Ezekiel 3:17-18]. Ezekiel was called to warn the wicked to turn from their wicked way. If Ezekiel did not warn the people of Israel, then their blood would have been upon his hands [Ezekiel 3:18]. The apostle Paul declared that he was “pure from the blood of all men” because he “shunned not” to declare the full counsel of God [Acts 20:26-27].
