The Jewish apostle Paul knew what it was like to be deceived and unsaved, and that is why he had such a burden for his fellow Jewish brethren. Paul knew that they were in an unsaved condition until they turned to Jesus Christ. The title for this short message comes from the actual words of Paul himself, written almost 2000 years ago:
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. (Romans 10:1)
This is a message that is in sync with my previous message entitled “The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ.” In this message I prove through the use of the scriptures that the Lord’s second coming is also the DAY of judgment and the last day. As I shared in the previous message, we learn that the Lord will send His angels to gather the (believers) at His coming, and at that same time, He will judge all mankind.
The Lord told us that he would come in power, and glory, and with His angels, (Matthew 24:30-31, Mark 13:26-27) and He also said that when He came, He would reward every man, according to His works! (Matthew 16:27) It is very interesting to see that the book of Revelation talks about this same judgment according to works taking place at the end of the “1000 years” (Revelation 20:13) That judgment takes place when the Lord Jesus Christ comes to this earth for the second time. The apostle John used the word antichrist in four different verses in his messages to the church. They were given for a reason, and that was to cause believers to be aware of what this antichrist spirit is all about. John gives us a very clear definition of this spirit of antichrist, which may cause you to rethink your position on Modern Day Israel, and the “Christian” Zionism movement. This is a most important parable as the Lord Jesus Christ is dealing with the people of Israel, and how they rejected the prophets through their history. The Lord Jesus Christ even prophesies of His own death in this parable. In the New Testament book of Acts, Stephen also rehearsed the history of Israel. He then confronted the Jewish leaders by saying this: “Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers.” (Acts 7:51-52) What an incredible contrast is found in the modern day “church” as many “leaders” have made an absolute IDOL out of secular Israel [both land and people], and have watered down the message that was once delivered to the saints. What was the purpose of the cross of Jesus Christ? Did Jesus the Christ (Messiah) know that He would be killed, and that He would rise again on the third day? This is one of the most important messages that I have ever preached. It deals with the topic of “Christian Zionism.” There are many who believe that the Jewish people are in a right relationship with God if they live in the light of the Torah, but the scriptures teach otherwise. If that were true then everything that Jesus Christ and His disciples preached would become meaningless. God has spoken to us by His Son, and this is God’s last word to both Jew and Gentile. Beware of joining hands with the modern day Pharisees, who reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ, no matter how “loving” it may seem. The scriptures warn us about those who have an “antichrist spirit” and deny that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Can two walk together except they be agreed?
