The apostle John used the word antichrist in four different verses in his messages to the church. In the book of Revelation, the apostle John was rebuked by an angel after John fell down to worship him. Here is the passage from the scriptures: And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10) The whole prophetic word of God will point you to the person of Jesus Christ. The angel from Heaven did not want any of the praise that was due only to the Lord Himself, and he did the right thing in rebuking John. Every single person who has been “born again” of the Spirit, will have the testimony of Jesus Christ in their hearts, and upon their lips.
