Jesus Christ spoke metaphorically when he said that HE was the TRUE vine. Jesus also said that WE (the believers) were the branches. The Lord was simply showing us that the spiritual LIFE that we need is found in HIM! He was talking about the Spirit of God within us. Every person who has been truly born again of The Spirit is part of the TRUE vine which is Jesus Christ Himself![BIBLE STUDY 21
